In 2002, we raised around $1k and 4 barrels of canned goods.

After the Brimstone!

The 8th annual Brimstone Boogie fundraiser for the Food Bank of the Rockies was held this past Saturday but there is much fun left to be had.
And when we say fun left to be had.....we mean beer, wine and food. So why not gather for some Spooky fun at our house to drain the kegs, uncork all of the wine bottles and dip a chip.
Costumes encouraged but optional.

$10 suggested donation which will go to the Foodbank of the Rockies.  (all donations made at After the Brimstone will also be entered in the drawing for the $50 gift cert to LoHi SteakBar!)

• If you don't have your advance purchase tickets yet and you show your receipt from Oct 24th from Highland Pacific at The Tango House you will get the advance purchase price ($40 per person instead of $50 ... a $10/person savings!).

Brimstone Boogie - Denver 2009 Details!

Come and get your dance on at the 8th Annual Brimstone Boogie - Denver benefiting the Food Bank of the Rockies! All proceeds raised from this fun night go to benefit the food bank.

Time: 8pm - 12am
Cost: Minimum donation is $40 per person in advance or $50 per person at the door.
Dress: Come dressed in your favorite dance attire ... make it from the roaring 20's, hopping 50's, rocking out 80's, Tango, Ballroom, your favorite bridesmaid dress hanging in your closet, or a current trend ... you name it, just have fun with it!
ages 21+ only

Dance to music from then and now, wonderful appetizers, beverages and door prizes provided by your hosts! If there is desire from the group there will also be a Tango lesson and / or demo (you can indicate in your reply if you would be interested in this).

Tickets are limited so purchase today before they are gone (we will update this website once we are sold out)! Once you purchase your tickets, electronic tickets/receipts for tax purposes will be emailed to you.

If $40 is just to much for you to swing this year and you really want to join us we do have one alternative. There are a very small number of $25 tickets available. In order to get one of these tickets you need to volunteer to help us out for 1 hour of the party. If you are able to do this and would like one of these tickets please let me know. Update on Pub Crawl Details!

Below are the list of goodies you will receive for your low $20 + 5 cans of food (or $25) admission price (what a deal!).

Also, remember that the #32 bus goes right down 32nd Ave and we are working on having cabs available to take you home (or if you live near by ... just walk ... it should be a nice evening outside!). There is also street parking (just don't park on a permit only street ... but there are only a couple of those around).

Brimstone Boogie 7 Halloween Party Details

This year the Brimstone Boogie Halloween Party is happening and is going to be better than ever! The main parts of the party are still the same ... the money is all going to the Food Bank of the Rockies, there will be great free drinks and food, rocking music, amazing costumes and fabulous prizes!

The new stuff:

• The main party is going underground! We will be rocking all night long at Hai Bar (next door to Sushi Hai) in their amazing 3000 square foot underground bar. Check out http://www.sushihai.com/haibar.shtml for more info.
• There will also be an optional pub crawl at businesses all around 32nd and Lowell including Highland Pacific, Cafe Caliente, Mead Street Station, Coral Room, Pizza Alley, and Three Dogs Tavern. At each location you will receive free drinks and/or munchies!
• Costumes are required at Hai Bar (it is only fun if everyone dresses up) but optional for the pub crawl locations.
• There will be fabulous door prizes! You will get a door prize ticket at every venue you attend with more tickets being awarded for the best costumes. Everyone will have a chance to win a door prize! There will also be costume prizes awarded to best individual and best group! The costume contest and door prize drawing will take place at 11pm at Hai Bar (must be present to win).
• Music! There will be bands playing at Mead Street Station and Highland Pacific and a DJ to rock you all night long at Hai Bar!

You get all of this for only $20 per person + 5 cans of food (or $25 with no food). Party tickets will be available only at the below locations (if you want to participate in the pub crawl, purchase your ticket and you will receive a map to the other venues which are all within walking distance):
